Upgraded to Live Stream, Video, and Audio
While we started with pre-recorded audio-only call sessions for our podcast, we have upgraded to doing the podcast sessions on live streaming and with video.
So we hope you are OK to join the show with video and on live stream. Live stream is still a new thing for us and we are working on having it streamed on as many platforms as possible.
We also have a private membership, GFAVIP, where these members can join the recording studio room and ask questions in the session. They also have the benefit for the networking round tables with you and others before and/or after the main show recording.
The show is of course recorded, and professionally edited by our team and then posted on various podcast and social media channels.
How It Works For Guests
Confirm Topic
Once you, the guest, and us, the podcast, agree to having your show on, we confirm the topic. While you can also submit topics and points to discuss – normally our producer team makes the topic and outline. This will be submitted to you in advance.
Schedule 2 Weeks in Advance
We like to Schedule 2 weeks in Advance because we need to prepare the audience, the GFAVIP members, posters, calendar links, etc. So when you pick a time, please try not to re-schedule as you can imagine the hassle it will cause us to re-update all our meeting links, calendars, community, and others. This is one of the bigger challenges we have found by upgrading our show to live stream – ensuring the guests and community all is confirmed on the same time.
Technical and Internet Check
If you haven’t used the technology we have used when we are onboarding you – please ask the community manager or clients services associate you are working with to help setup a test run.
Show Up 15 Minutes In Advance
We want to make sure things are working on your side before the show starts. Please try to login 15 minutes early and talk to the host and others on the team.
Networking Round Tables
As we get things setup for the live streaming and the recording – we allow GFAVIP members to dial in and share. Please get to know them and see how you can help them, as well as loosen up a bit.
Recording Time!
We will invite you backstage where you can prepare with the host. And then we go live. Recording is 30 – 45 minutes. There are no slides, but it is on video with you and the host(s) and select members in the GFAVIP community.
Network with Members
After the session we allow chats to come in from the members as well as audio and video networking.
After the Show
GFA VIP Network Profile Page
After the show we make a profile page for you on vip.globalfromasia.com so we can help people find you online and know more about you.
Edit the Show and Post on iTunes
Then we get the show posted. This can be 1 week or more from the recording, depending on the schedule and frequency of other guests.
